Friendship beyond Borders Reflected in Exlibris
Abstract
It is my great honor to introduce a dear friend of mine Juris Doctor Masahito Sakamoto, a rare Japanese specialist in ex libris, an avid collector of Central European exlibris, and a devoted friend of Ukraine, which I have been aware of since I came to know him at an exhibition of Ukrainian children’s paintings held at Seisen University (Tokyo) in 2024.
This brochure is written based on the materials from the exhibition and symposium “Ukrainian Exlibris after February 24, 2022” which was organized by Professor of Poltava National Pedagogical University Olha Nikolenko and Director of Poltava Art Museum Olha Kurchakova on April 23, 2025.
