Graphic Technique as Language: My Experience with Exlibris Printmaking
Abstract
My artistic practice unfolds at the intersection of several fields that are deeply meaningful to me: printmaking, pedagogy, and the study of intaglio techniques. I work with classical hand-printing methods: etching, aquatint, linocut, mezzotint, and other variations of intaglio and relief printing. I apply these techniques in creating ex libris — small graphic artworks that combine aesthetics, symbolism, and deeply personal messages.
